Management of Company Electronic Mailbox
From 1.7.2017 all Slovak state authorities will comunicate with companies registered in Slovakia via electronical Data Mailboxes. For this reason, it is important to ensure access to Data Mailboxes of your company. Access to electronic Data Mailboxes is ensured via Central Government Portal www.slovensko.sk. Access is available only for company directors. Director need for access Slovak ID card with activated chip or ID card of residence permit in Slovakia or Alternative authenticator for persons without residence permit in Slovakia with activated chip and a smart card reader.
Slovak state organs have a unique approach for ensuring of to the access for foreign citizens:
Foreign persons as statutory body who are not citizens of the Slovak Republic and do not have a residence permit in the territory of the Slovak Republic may apply for the extradition of an alternative authenticator on the foreign police department. For the purpose of verifying data, the authorization may require the presentation of a national identity card or passport and extract from the business register.
Alternative authenticator will be extraditioned free of charge for a period of 3 years and will be serve to sign in to the e-mail box at the Central Public Administration Portal www.slovensko.sk
If all directors of your company are foreign citizens without resident in Slovakia or you are not for any reason able to ensure access to electronic Data Mailbox of your company, please contact us, we will ensure access to electronic Data Mailbox under power of attorney.
